This guide takes you from a newly created account to a running operation. Follow the order: each step unlocks the next one, and the Home page checklist follows the same path. Steps marked as optional depend on your plan or your company’s stage. We’ve split it into steps:
  1. Connect your channels
  2. Build the structure and invite your team
  3. Train the Cérebro
  4. Turn on Tino (optional, Scale)
  5. Track your team with Scout
  6. Reach out to customers with campaigns (optional, Scale)
Steps 1 to 3 are done by the Administrator. If you received an invite, start with Accept the invite and activate your account. The Tartini interface is in Portuguese. Screen and button names appear here exactly as on screen, with the translation in parentheses.

Step 1: Connect your channels

The channel is where the customer arrives. Without a channel, the Inbox stays empty and Tino has no one to talk to. There are three channels: WhatsApp via QR Code, which connects a number through your phone; WhatsApp Business API, Meta’s official connection; and the Chat Widget, which puts support on your website.

Step 2: Build the structure and invite your team

The structure in Areas and Units defines who sees what. Build it before inviting people, because each person receives access at a point within it. A single store only needs one Unit; a company with departments or divisions uses Areas, each with its own Units.

Step 3: Train the Cérebro

Everything starts with the Cérebro (the company’s brain): you provide what the company already has written, it learns your pattern, and it coordinates the agents. Teach it once, and it applies to all support. The Home page checklist asks for the minimum needed to complete the Company Identity: at least three properties, plus items in Communication, Guidelines, and Compliance. Only after that do the channel and team steps unlock in the checklist.

Step 4: Turn on Tino

With the Cérebro trained, Tino can start supporting customers. It’s turned on channel by channel, each with its own hours, follow-up, and closing settings.
Tino is part of the Scale and Enterprise plans. On Essential, skip to step 5: the team handles support with Sotto alongside them.

Step 5: Track your team with Scout

Scout evaluates every closed conversation, from the team and from Tino, using the rubric it asks the Cérebro for, and shows performance by agent, Unit, and Area. Turn it on in Conversation Rules and review the evaluations: each correction you make teaches Scout to evaluate the way you do.

  • Use Sotto: access is granted per person on the Users screen.

Step 6: Reach out to customers with campaigns

In campaigns, you’re the one who starts the conversation: Tino reaches out to the contacts on a list or from an event in your system and leads the conversation that follows. It requires a connected WhatsApp channel; if it’s the official connection (WABA), it also requires a template approved by Meta.
Campaigns are part of the Scale and Enterprise plans.
