Once connected, messages from your WhatsApp number start arriving straight in your team’s Inbox. You can reconnect or switch numbers whenever you need.
Who connects: Administrator, Company Manager, Area Manager, and Unit Manager. Available on all plans. The Tartini interface is in Portuguese. Screen and button names appear here exactly as on screen, with the translation in parentheses.

Connect a number by QR Code

By default, no Unit has a WhatsApp Business channel connected. Where to find it: Configurações > Canais > WhatsApp Business (Settings > Channels > WhatsApp Business).
1

Open the WhatsApp Business screen

Go to Configurações > Canais > WhatsApp Business and click Conectar (Connect).
2

Accept the connection risks

In the Aceitar riscos (Accept risks) modal, read the warnings and click Aceito os riscos, continuar (I accept the risks, continue).
3

Fill in the channel details

Choose the Entidade (Entity) and give it a Nome do canal (Channel name) that helps your team identify the number later.
4

Create the channel

Click Criar canal (Create channel). The Conectar WhatsApp (Connect WhatsApp) modal opens on the QR Code tab.
5

Scan the code

Open WhatsApp on your phone and scan the QR Code on the screen. The connection closes the modal on its own once it’s done.
WhatsApp Business uses an unofficial connection. Meta can ban numbers connected this way, and WhatsApp updates can cause disconnections. For a more stable operation, consider WABA.

Connect by pairing code

If you’d rather not use the camera, connect by typing a code directly into WhatsApp on your phone.
1

Open the Número tab

In the Conectar WhatsApp modal, click the Número (Number) tab.
2

Enter your phone number

Type the number with the area code, without the +55, which is already filled in.
3

Generate the code

Click Confirmar número (Confirm number). Tartini shows a pairing code.
4

Type the code into WhatsApp

On your phone, open WhatsApp, go to Aparelhos conectados (Linked devices), tap Conectar um aparelho (Link a device), select Conectar com número (Link with phone number), and type the code.
This connection method only works for Brazilian numbers.

Reconnect a disconnected channel

By default, a disconnected channel stays idle until someone reconnects it.
1

Open the number list

Go to Configurações > Canais > WhatsApp Business.
2

Open the channel menu

Click the ⋮ next to the disconnected channel and choose Sincronizar (Sync).
3

Scan again

Repeat the QR Code scan or the pairing code, as in the first connection.
When WhatsApp disconnects on its own, Tartini alerts your team with a notification that leads straight to this screen.

Disconnect a channel

1

Open the channel menu

In the number list, click the ⋮ next to the connected channel.
2

Choose Desconectar

Click Desconectar (Disconnect). The channel stops receiving messages, but stays in the list to be reconnected later.
Deleting a channel, unlike disconnecting, removes the channel from the list. To handle conversations on that number again, you’ll need to connect a channel from scratch.

Frequently asked questions

Click Gerar novo QR Code (Generate new QR Code) inside the same modal and scan the new code.
No. Each Unit has one WhatsApp Business channel at a time. For another number, use another Unit.
The QR Code connection depends on the WhatsApp session on your phone staying active. WhatsApp updates can end that session. Just sync it again.
