Anatomy
There are always two dots, never three. Three dots inside a bubble mean “typing…” in any messaging app, and this system’s conversation has exactly two sides. The rule also applies to the typing indicator inside the product. The proportions are fixed: the node has radius 8 and the team dot has radius 7, both on the same centerline. The node is larger because that is where the eye should go, and this is never readjusted for each application.Variants
Size and lockup
Minimum size. Below 20 pixels on screen, or 7 millimeters in print, the bubble closes up and the two dots turn into a blur. At that size, use only the node: a gradient circle, alone. Lockup. Symbol at 34 pixels, 12 of breathing room, wordmark at 30 in Schibsted Grotesk 800 with tracking of −0.045em. Nothing between the two, nothing around them./logo/light.svg and /logo/dark.svg.
