The symbol is a speech bubble with two dots inside. The bubble is the conversation. The terracotta dot is the team. The gradient dot, at the same height and a bit larger, is the artificial intelligence and the meeting point between the two: the node. *** ## Anatomy There are always two dots, never three. Three dots inside a bubble mean "typing…" in any messaging app, and this system's conversation has exactly two sides. The rule also applies to the typing indicator inside the product. The proportions are fixed: the node has radius 8 and the team dot has radius 7, both on the same centerline. The node is larger because that is where the eye should go, and this is never readjusted for each application. The symbol enlarged, with the caption: the bubble is the conversation, the terracotta dot is the team, the gradient node is the AI and the meeting point *** ## Variants The symbol's five variants: solid, paper, outline, app icon, and favicon | Variant | When to use | | ------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Solid** | The default: bubble in ink over paper. | | **Paper** | For dark backgrounds. The two dots don't change. | | **Outline** | Hollow bubble, 5-weight stroke. The dots stay solid. | | **App icon** | The node leaves the bubble and becomes a badge in the corner. | | **Favicon** | Just the node, below 20 pixels. | *** ## Size and lockup **Minimum size.** Below 20 pixels on screen, or 7 millimeters in print, the bubble closes up and the two dots turn into a blur. At that size, use only the node: a gradient circle, alone. **Lockup.** Symbol at 34 pixels, 12 of breathing room, wordmark at 30 in Schibsted Grotesk 800 with tracking of −0.045em. Nothing between the two, nothing around them.
